Goals and tasks

The prime goal and scope of achieving the goals of the Transport and Logistics Managers Association TRANSPORTLOG is to improve the profession and culture of transport and logistics, achieve more organized and successful work of the members of the Association, strengthen the standards and conditions of work as well as ensure sustainable development for the transport and logistics sector. In addition, the goals and tasks of the Association are:

  • the gathering of transport and logistics managers in order to identify and promote their common interests, to promote professional knowledge and to establish an efficient and modern organized association;
  • improving the position, professional and business reputation of members and following the world trends in the development of the profession;
  • improvement of work and business through increasing productivity and profitability by applying scientific and technological achievements in the field of transport and logistics;
  • improving the business practices of its members;
  • preparation of plans and programs of business, as well as the adoption and development of standards and working conditions in order to achieve better quality of work;
  • organization of education, training, training of personnel in the field of transport and logistics;
  • protection of members of the Association and protection of the common professional and business interests of members as well as assistance to members to perform their activities under the most favorable conditions;
  • monitoring the regulations of importance for the activity of members of the Association and initiating the necessary legislative changes;
  • taking care on matters of interest to its members, representing these attitudes and, in general, the interests of its members in the relevant state bodies, other persons and the public;
  • cooperation with educational institutions and organizations and organization of professional and scientific meetings aimed at educating members;
  • education of members through the organization of counseling, lectures, tribunes and training;
  • determining the rules of good business conduct of its members – the moral code;
  • sharing information and experiences in organizing and managing;
  • providing services to its members and external persons through consulting;
  • cooperation with professional, expert, scientific organizations and institutions in order to improve and develop the profession and activities of members.
